I wish this song had happened a bit, but it didn't. I was thinking I wish I had gotten drunk when I was in high school after borrowing alcohol from a cool older sister of one of my friends and then riding a boat around a lake. Currently as a 32 year old that sounds like the first half of a "high school party gone horribly wrong" Star Tribune article though. Chastity Brown sang the shit out of this.
lyrics
Sister's Wine
Verse 1
We were high,
But coming down,
One false move
We could have touched the ground
But you were young,
And we thought we were,
So we were fine
We were lost,
Where we got lost before,
One bad turn,
We’d have flipped the car
But it was clear,
In the evening light,
It was clear
chorus 1
My trouble is,
There’s nothing so good,
As how it tasted on my throat in the woods,
It was fine, it was fine,
Your sister’s wine
verse 2
We were late,
But you’d broke your clock
One more rev,
We would have hit the dock,
We were scared,
But you held it there,
On that quiet lake
chorus 2
My trouble is,
There’s nothing so good,
As how it tasted on my throat in the woods,
It was fine, it was fine,
Your sister’s
wine
we were scared ,
of what'd you'd say
but it doesn't matter now
we were old
and we knew we were
when we heard you say
outro
can't you see
this is not for me
we were fine
we were fine
your sister's wine

It's a great record because Heiruspecs is a great band that is only partially held back by my Neanderthal bass playing and desire of songs with under 1 chord. Twinkie Jiggles Broken Orchestra
